SkygenCookie Policy
Effective 25 October 2026
This policy covers the cookies and browser storage used on skygen.ai: the marketing site and the Skygen product served under the same address. It supplements the Privacy Policy. Contact privacy@skygen.ai with questions.
1. Cookies we set
All are first-party cookies for skygen.ai, sent only over HTTPS, with SameSite set to Lax or Strict. All except skygen_acct are HttpOnly, so scripts on the page cannot read them. None is set by or shared with an advertising or analytics company.

skygen_sid | Keeps your session in the Skygen product: a random identifier that tells the service which browser is asking and carries nothing else. Set for every visitor, signed in or not, the first time they open a page the product serves, including these legal pages, the sign-in screens and the ads onboarding. Lasts 30 days. |
skygen_acct | Records that this browser belongs to a signed-in account, so the front page opens the product rather than the marketing page. Contains only the value 1 and no secret. Set at sign-up and sign-in, removed at sign-out. Lasts 30 days. |
skygen_ai_audit_guest | Lets the browser that started an AI visibility check without an account open that check again. A random token, set when the check starts. Lasts 7 days. |
skygen_paid_attribution | Set only if you choose Accept all, when you open the ads onboarding. A random token pointing to a record of the link you arrived through (its utm_*, gclid, fbclid, msclkid and ttclid parameters) and the onboarding steps you reached, used to credit a sign-up to the campaign that brought it. If you later choose Necessary only or Decline, the record is withdrawn and the cookie deleted. Lasts up to 30 days. |
skygen_client | Remembers that you entered the password for a page a customer shared with you. A signed pass, sent only to that page’s address. Lasts 30 days. |
skygen_outreach | Keeps a Skygen operator’s access to the outreach screens after they unlock them with a key. A signed pass that does not contain the key. Lasts 30 days. |
skygen_company_meta_operator | Keeps access to the operator screen of Skygen’s own advertising automation, intended for Skygen staff. A signed pass. Lasts 8 hours. |
2. Browser storage
cookie_consent(local storage): your choice on the cookie banner —all,necessaryordeclined. Kept until you clear this site’s data.skygen-worlds:…(local storage): on pages the product serves, a demonstration workspace that runs in your browser for visitors who are not signed in. It is not sent to Skygen.registration_meta(session storage, cleared when the tab closes): the parameters of the link you arrived through, including campaign parameters. It is stored without a consent check and is sent to Skygen with a form you submit from that tab, such as a referral application or a contact request.pendingPrompt(session storage): text you typed on the site before signing up, so the product can start from it.- While you use the product, further entries keep drafts, screen positions and the workspace you last opened across reloads. They are not sent to Skygen.
3. Analytics and advertising
No analytics or advertising tag runs on skygen.ai on the effective date of this policy, and no third party sets cookies through Skygen. The marketing site supports Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads. If they are enabled, they load with Google consent mode, with analytics and advertising storage denied until you choose Accept all. The cookies they set will be listed here before they are enabled.
4. Your choices
- The cookie banner. Accept all allows
skygen_paid_attributionand, if enabled, Google analytics and advertising storage. Necessary only and Decline keep them off. Cookies the product needs to work are not affected. - Changing your choice. Clear this site’s data in your browser and the banner appears again on your next visit.
- Browser controls. You can block or delete cookies in Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. Without
skygen_sidthe product cannot keep you signed in.
5. Changes and contact
We will update this policy when the cookies or storage it describes change, and show its effective date. A new cookie, or one that would wait for less consent than today, is listed here before it is used. Contact privacy@skygen.ai about this policy.
